How and When to Audition

ANNOUNCEMENT: The chorus will hold auditions for new members on Tuesday, September 9 2025, from 4:45-6:00 pm at 50 Broadway, second floor. After September 30 auditions will be closed for the 2025-26 season

NYCLC auditions are generally held in September and January of each season. However, the music director, Jana Ballard, frequently hears auditions via appointment throughout the year.
 

Please email Jana Ballard at janakballard@gmail.com if you are interested in scheduling an appointment. Auditions consist of singing an a capella song of your choice and singing vocal exercises led by the music director to assess vocal range.
