Job Description

Junior Security Analyst Our great client in Milwaukee, WI has an immediate opening for a Junior Security Analyst. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Endpoint Security Administrator to join our security team. This entry-level position will focus on supporting our antivirus, endpoint management, and data loss prevention (DLP) infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in responding to incident tickets and ensuring the health and integrity of our endpoint security tool infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of antivirus and endpoint management infrastructure. Monitor and manage dashboards reporting the health of security tools on endpoints. Perform routine checks and updates to ensure security tools are functioning optimally. Respond to incident tickets related to endpoint security issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with senior security team members to investigate and resolve security incidents. Monitor dashboards to identify any trends that need to be addressed to prevent a security issue. Document incident resolutions and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles. Qualifications: Associates degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Basic understanding of antivirus, endpoint management, and DLP technologies. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus but not required.
