Facilities Coordinator 

Potential Temp to Hire OR Direct Hire

Location: Near Downtown San Diego

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform administrative oversight of facility to ensure projects are performed and completed in a timely fashion
• Helps with scheduling more complex needs by scheduling outside services for the maintenance of facilities and physical assets, from preventative maintenance to future planned maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure environment.
• Assist with maintaining an inventory of physical assets and management of those assets.
• Attends to general and light janitorial and custodial services of a routine, recurring, or usual nature.
• Recommend and implement new safety procedures as issues arise.
• Equipment inspection.
• Upkeep and use of facility specific manuals to assist with the process, methods, equipment and tools, as well as the maintenance schedules of outside services that maintain the facility.
• Build and maintain a relationships with outside service providers for further support.
• Report and track all expenses.
• Coordinate future building maintenance and repairs for which outside services will be used.

Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 3+ years’ experience with facilities coordination.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to schedule outside services to deal with various concerns and needs using a ticketing type system.
• Must have prior experience and understanding safety laws.
• Ability to create relationships and partnerships with outside services.
• Ability to maintain a record keeping system.

Physical Requirements Include:

• Lift and move up to 30 Lbs.
• Requires close vision of objects and good depth perception.
• Standing and moving ~ 50 % of the time
• Sitting and computer work ~ 50% of the time.

Compensation: $23-$28 Hr. DOE
