Where Your Career is a Force for Good Our Ideal Candidate In this position you will perform all aspects of web-based training development for Biomedical Services which include: partnering with internal customers to identify training opportunities based on needs assessments and develop web based training using web based training development tools. This role will collaborate with our learning management team to deliver effective e-learning solutions that provide real value and act as a trusted advisor and effective change agent to our internal customers. What You Will Do Conduct needs analysis using Instructional Design and Human Performance Improvement methodologies in partnership with business leaders to identify role-based performance expectations and performance/proficiency gaps. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to establish the goals and objectives. Design and develop learning interventions to meet organization’s needs. Analyze potential solutions and recommend the most appropriate methodology and technology to maximize the learning experience. Partner with business unit leaders as a performance consultant to align training and performance improvement efforts with organizational and functional strategic goals. Design and develop learning solutions that achieve the knowledge, skills, and behavioral changes needed to meet business goals. Develop training plans that address workforce performance and development needs for that function. Design and develop performance evaluation tools that effectively measure staff performance to established performance standards. Gather, compile, and analyze statistical data for the measurement of curriculum and training effectiveness. Research and recommend new technologies to simplify the development and delivery of effective training programs. What You Need to Succeed Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in instructional design, instructional technology or similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proficiency in using e-learning and instructional design tools, such as Articulate and Captivate and Lectora Proficiency with audio editing tools, such as Audition, Audacity Proficiency with photo editing tools, such as Adobe Photoshop Job related experience Minimum of 3 years experience in training and instructional design 3 years experience in eLearning delivery Demonstrated experience in designing training for technology-delivered instruction (web-based and mobile training, electronic performance support, etc.) Experience using established methodology’s in all stages of instructional design process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Experience with authoring tools and related software for the purpose of producing multimedia training packages.
