1st Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description:
• Heavy Data Entry required for keying shipments, opening files, submitting customs clearance data/information to Brokerage, and updating Master Board (paperless system)
• Transferring EDI information to Brokerage and adding to Master Board
• Tracking/Tracing all Ocean Import shipments and updating Master Board with ETA to POD/FND date revisions and updating notes on a daily basis for each shipment.
• Notifying the customer via email of any delays to POD and FND and FDA/Exam holds, adding same information into notes on Master Board
• Email correspondence with customer, agents, truckers, freight forwarders, steamship lines (via email and chat rooms)
• Reviewing customer reports received daily and entering data on Master Board, which can include adding final delivery location
• Generate delivery orders as needed and coordinating pick up / deliveries with trucking companies and freight forwarders
• Knowledge required for tracking/tracing on all steamship line websites, co-loader websites, and CFS station websites (shipping terminology required)
• Provide PU numbers and LFDs to the customer/truckers

• 2-year minimum of Ocean Import Experience (understanding shipments, terminology, tracking and tracing.)
• Data Entry
• Distribution/Manufacturing experience
