Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician who will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations. This position involves entering prescriptions into our database, answering customer inquiries, and managing a high volume of inbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Confirm prescription details and ensure accuracy.
• Answer customer questions related to prescriptions and pharmacy services.
• Enter prescription information into the database efficiently.
• Handle 40-50 inbound calls daily, providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) credential.
• State of NJ Pharmacy Technician License.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Experience in customer service within the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are preferred.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is acceptable.
• Ability to manage high call volumes effectively.

Work Environment

• The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the opportunity for overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
