Overview

Vascular Surgeon - Part-Time position in Huntsville, AL with National Wound Physician Group, a part of Vohra Wound Physicians.

Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in facilities across the network with modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Deliver care with real-time clinical documentation at the point of care using our wound-specific EMR.
• Participate in paid onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship during training.
• Mobile practice: travel within a 4060 mile radius of practice location.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment status; no visa sponsorship available.

Practice Overview

• Full-time work: Monday Friday (7am4pm) or part-time available.
• No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 4060 mile radius.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management in post-acute care facilities.
• Wound care rounds conducted weekly at each facility; 23 facilities per day.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time 45 days per week.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with real-time documentation.
