Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with an active NJ RT license and ARRT certification for a weekday assignment with call coverage.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital radiology department serving diverse patient populations
• Operate a variety of imaging equipment for diagnostic radiology procedures
• Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts with every other weekend call required
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Utilizes Epic EMR for charting and documentation
• Responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Must be able to coordinate daily imaging schedules and monitor for procedure revisions as needed
• Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Assignment limited to one calendar year from initial start date with a 30-60 day break required before returning

\n \n Requirements\n

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• 1-3 years of relevant experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Demonstrated ability to set up, utilize, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
