• Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift\n
• Location: Shiloh, Illinois 62269 (Greater St. Louis area)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract\n
• Start Date: December 15, 2025\n
• End Date: March 16, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15), 3 shifts/week\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Unit: Level II Special Care Nursery (6 beds, average census: 3)\n
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required\n
• Scrubs: Provided\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Illinois RN license (required at time of application)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level II NICU nursing experience\n
• Special Care Nursery experience required\n
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
• Proficient in ventilator management and IV starts\n
• Ability to float between Memorial Belleville and Memorial East/Shiloh hospitals\n
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system preferred\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required\n
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility\n

\n\nNICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality neonatal nursing care to Level II neonates (30 weeks gestation and above)\n
• Provide care for well newborns at delivery and during transition\n
• Perform ventilator management, IV starts, and advanced NICU procedures\n
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals\n
• Float to affiliated hospitals within the Memorial service line as needed\n
• Participate in self-scheduling and ensure weekend coverage\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC charting system\n
