Job Summary:

A facility in New York, NY is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Nurse Educator to join their Home Care team. This role is unique in that it requires a combination of clinical expertise and educational acumen, with responsibilities split between in-office duties and fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both maternal and adult care and be passionate about educating both patients and staff.

 

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse with a focus on education and patient instruction.
    • Must have experience in both Maternal and Adult Care .
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in both an in-office (50%) and field-based (50%) setting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and caregivers on health management, disease prevention, and care plans.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, track progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Licensure:
    • A valid and current New York State RN license is required.
