Job Description:
\nWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital. In this role, you will provide advanced cardiac diagnostic and interventional care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cath lab procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting. \n\n Certifications and Licenses Required: \n

\n
• Valid North Carolina or compact state RN license (must be on hand)\n
• ACLS \n
• BLS \n

\n\n Qualifications & Skills: \n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of recent cath lab RN experience \n
• Ability to efficiently perform all standard procedures within the cath lab environment\n
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team\n
• Flexibility to adapt and learn in a rapidly evolving medical setting\n

\n\n Preferred Education & Experience: \n

\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred\n
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required for first-timers\n
• Familiarity with contemporary cath lab technology and protocols\n

\n\n Additional Details: \n

\n
• Immunization Requirement: Flu vaccines are mandatory; no exemptions or declinations accepted\n
• Schedule: 5-day week, day shifts, no on-call or floating required\n
• Orientation: Bi-weekly sessions to ensure seamless integration into our team\n
