Job Title - Traffic Engineer

Location - DeBary, FL | Tampa, FL

Job Type – Hybrid, Onsite

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Traffic Engineer for our Traffic Engineering Department in our DeBary or Tampa, FL offices. The successful candidate will enjoy: developing technical solutions, fostering close client and staff relationships; providing creative approaches to project development; and maintaining a personal dedication to serving client needs and mentoring younger engineers.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Prepare design plans for the following disciplines (not all inclusive):
• Traffic Signals
• Roadway Lighting
• Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)
• Signing and Pavement Marking
• Maintain positive working relationship with Clients

Knowledge of engineering practices and procedures, including:

• FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
• Florida Design Manual (FDM)
• FDOT Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• MicroStation

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a BS degree in Engineering
• Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license

Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
