The team:
Our Global Trade Advisory practice is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP's International Tax business and advises U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies, compliance, and trade automation. Our team focuses on advising, implementing and operating SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions with an innovative mindset which delivers tangible business outcome for our clients. Professionals will have hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies and thought leaders. We work with clients who want us to bring design thinking into the future of their technology enabled business processes to improve their ability to react on the digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for GTS projects
In your role, you will lead and/or facilitate business process definition and modeling
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development and configuration
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within SAP GTS solutions
You will guide a team to implement and configure the software to replicate the required business processes and analytical/reporting needs
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and client teams
Ensure that SAP GTS solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and support
Qualifications Required:
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
1+ years relevant SAP consulting or industry experience
Good understanding of the supply chain management processes
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Experience in other SAP modules other than SAP GTS
Technical knowledge in ABAP and SAP PL
Bachelors degree in a legal, business or technology related field
Ability to travel up to 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

Understanding of end to end processes and attention to detailed design
Strong team and organizational skills, ability to self-manage time and tasks
Ability to manage client and cross functional team expectations
