MAIN FUNCTION
The Senior Web/Graphic Designer will serve a hybrid role that combines creative vision with technical expertise. They will lead the development and execution of PNY's digital and visual branding strategies. Working with the Web Development and Graphic Design teams, this role partners closely with the Creative Manager to ensure consistent brand messaging, a positive user experience, and seamless implementation of creative initiatives across web, e-commerce, email, social media, print, and trade shows. The role focuses on innovative approaches in digital and print media. It involves both shaping the strategic direction and executing visual projects, balancing hands-on design and development duties with team leadership, project management, and cross-department collaboration.
Leadership in the design, development, and content management of PNY's websites (corporate, partner portals, intranet, and e-commerce).
Driving the visual execution of marketing campaigns across email, digital media, print, and interactive formats.
Enhancing user experience (UX), usability, and accessibility across all digital platforms.
Mentoring and guiding junior/senior web and graphic team members, with cross-department collaboration across Marketing, Product, Marcom, and IT.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in both graphic and front-end web design (agency or corporate)
Proven experience in responsive web design, digital asset creation, and front-end development
Strong leadership skills with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage projects across disciplines
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and current web accessibility standards (W3C WAI WCAG)
Expert-level HTML5 and CSS3; proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery; experience with REST APIs and asynchronous JS preferred
Knowledge of WordPress, StoryBlok, BigCommerce, or other CMS platforms
Experience with Asana or other project Management tools
Knowledge of HubSpot or other CRM tools
Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web performance tools
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to translate ideas into visuals and interactions
Experience preparing production-ready design and code assets
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Must be a team player with collaborative and organizational abilities
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position can be performed on-site or remotely. It requires cross-functional communication and collaboration, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage both strategy and execution.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Marcom, and IT departments
External: Manages external vendors and partners to support in-house design and development
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Web & UX Responsibilities Lead design and front-end development of PNY websites (internet, intranet, extranet, and e-commerce)
Build and maintain responsive web pages with optimal UX and performance
Manage content updates and visual design for internal portals and partner platforms
Monitor and troubleshoot web usability issues; implement user-centered design solutions
Integrate analytics and optimization strategies for site performance and conversion goals
Identify and recommend new web technologies and tools for improved efficiency and innovation
Graphic Design & Marketing Responsibilities Develop digital marketing materials (email campaigns, banner ads, social media graphics, and e-newsletters)
Design and maintain branded templates and visuals for internal and external use
Create and manage print collateral, packaging, trade show graphics, and signage
Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and cross-channel creative executions
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and help evolve the visual identity where appropriate
Team Leadership & Collaboration Assist in overseeing the Graphic Design and Web Development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines
Provide mentorship, design reviews, and technical guidance to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into creative deliverables
Prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines with minimal supervision
Contribute to the overall creative and digital strategy in partnership with leadership
Other Duties Maintain and organize design libraries and web asset repositories
Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and performance reviews
Support special projects
Other design/web-related assignments as needed
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
