Sr. Power BI Reports Developer (SAP Environment)

Unison Systems is seeking a Sr. Power BI Reports Developer with a strong focus on front-end report development and advanced SQL skills to support data discovery and integration. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in an Enterprise SAP environment , ensuring seamless connectivity and accurate reporting across complex data landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Utilize SQL to query, extract, and validate data from multiple sources when needed.
- Integrate and optimize data models for performance and scalability within Power BI.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise SAP data structures and reporting standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and visualization.
- Stay current with Power BI updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI report development and working with Excel at an enterprise level.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (and ODBC Connections) for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience in an Enterprise SAP environment (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of data modeling , DAX , and Power Query .
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Data Sphere, and/or related SAP data sources.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Services or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
