Move Forward with Volt

Volt is hiring for an  SMT Operator  for a company located in Colorado Springs, CO .

As an  SMT Operator you will be:

• Setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT equipment.
• Working with automated machinery such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and solder paste printers to ensure efficient production of PCBs
• Loading and unloading components, such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits, into feeders or trays for automated assembly.
• Inspect PCBs and components for defects. Using tools like microscopes or X-ray machines for quality checks.
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on SMT equipment.
• Troubleshooting issues with equipment or assembly processes.

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday,6:00am-3:30pm (some flexibility)

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour DOE

Qualified Candidates will have: 

• Experience operating surface mount equipment
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Experience in electronic assembly and using hand tools

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
