GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Security Officer!

As a Security Supervisor there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Site Location: Durham, NC
• Set Full-time Schedule: 
  • 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, Wednesday - Saturday (32 hours per week)
  • 7:00AM - 3:00 PM, Saturday - Tuesday (32 hours per week)
• Competitive hourly wage:
  • $18.78/Hr. - $20.30 / Hr., bi-weekly pay periods (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of a Security Supervisor 

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Security Supervisor 

• Must have an active PPSB license. 
• Must have at least 2 years of Supervisor, Manager, or Team Lead experience. 
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience. 
• Must be proficient in computers/technology. 
• Must be over the age of 21 years old. 
• Prior badging experience is preferred. 
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
