As a Security Professional - Mall Patrols in Tigard, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment at a dynamic retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help foster a sense of comfort for visitors and tenants, and promptly addressing any security-related concerns. You will interact with members of the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during each shift according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post, so previous driving experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
