Sales Customer Development Manager – Remote (East Coast based Strongly Preferred)

Full-Time | Exempt | Sales Department

Evantic is seeking a Sales Customer Development Manager. This is a pure growth role for a driven hunter who thrives on opening doors, creating demand, and closing new business in the life science and fluid management markets. The Business Development Manager is responsible for aggressively expanding market share by targeting new OEM and contract manufacturing customers requiring precision machined plastic components for critical life science applications.

You will own new customer acquisition and pipeline creation, converting cold targets into long-term revenue accounts. This role is for someone who lives for quota, consistently exceeds targets, and enjoys selling engineered solutions into complex technical environments.

This position offers a base salary plus a lucrtative Sales Incentive Plan bonus

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across key markets including Life Sciences, Industrial, and Aerospace.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution development, closing, and customer onboarding.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, engineers, and technical stakeholders.

  • Create and execute strategic account plans and market penetration strategies.

  • Translate technical capabilities into clear, compelling customer value propositions.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure customized solutions and excellent customer support.

  • Represent Evantic at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and professional forums.

  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline updates, forecast revenue, and track business development KPIs.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy.

  • : Assist with marketing campaign development such as posts, email blasts and trade show development.  

What You Bring
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or strategic account management, preferably experience selling into Life Sciences market.
  • Proven success identifying, qualifying, and closing new business in complex B2B markets; Life Sciences experience preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.

  • Experience with long sales cycles and enterprise accounts involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-starter with strong organization and time-management abilities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits and industry events

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory and technical standards (ISO, FDA, AS9100).

  • Based on the East Coast.strongly preferred
