Nanowave Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced RF Engineer with strong expertise in frequency synthesizer, phase-locked loop (PLL), and direct digital synthesis (DDS) design and testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing synthesizer RF designs, designing and programming microcontroller or FPGA-based control boards, and creating source power supply designs. Experience with RF PCB design using Altium Designer is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Optimization:

Conceive, design, analyze and develop compact low phase noise sources to meet aerospace and space operating environments. 

• Testing and Measurement:

Hands-on laboratory testing and trouble shooting

• Collaboration:

Ability to work seamlessly with a group of diverse and highly skilled engineering and production colleagues including mechanical /software/monitor& control/EPC/ thermal/thin film/etc.)

• Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation at the MIL STD level. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum : 5+ years’ Industry RF design experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited university.
• Preferred : PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited university, with a thesis on signal source technology or a related topic with 5 -10 years’ RF design industry experience.
