This individual will bridge the gap between business analysis and technical execution, supporting strategic initiatives across the retail grocery space. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, deep understanding of POS systems (especially self-checkout and hardware), and a well-rounded technical background within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to drive technical product success. Collaborate closely with the Business Product Owner and architecture team to ensure alignment of product vision and technical execution. Define, document, and prioritize technical stories and features within Agile backlogs. Translate complex requirements into clear acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements. Leverage retail industry experience, particularly in grocery POS and self-checkout systems, to guide product decisions. Balance long-term technical vision with MVP-focused incremental delivery. Ensure seamless integration with microservices and cloud-first architectures. Must-Have Qualifications: 5+ years of experience delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments. 3+ years of experience working in a scaled Agile setting (SAFe experience a plus). Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Scrum Master. Prior hands-on exposure to Retail POS systems (self-checkout, hardware integration, etc.). Understanding of technical architecture and backend systems (no coding required, but must be conversant with developers and architects). Excellent communication and documentation skills with high attention to detail. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with microservices and cloud-first technologies. SAFe certification or other Agile-related credentials. Previous experience in multiple Agile roles (BA, QA, Dev, PO, SM, Architecture).
