A leading private investment firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its generalist investment team in Pittsburgh, PA . This is a rare opportunity to step into a true investing seat at an established, well-capitalized firm operating at the intersection of private equity and private credit.

The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals across the full lifecycle of investments - sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management - while gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction structures.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate new investment opportunities, including financial modeling, business analysis, and industry research
• Support deal execution from initial diligence through closing
• Assist with ongoing portfolio company monitoring and strategic initiatives
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal presentations
• Collaborate directly with senior team members in a lean, apprenticeship-style environment

What They’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, mezzanine, transaction advisory, or accounting (QOE work)
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Intellectual curiosity and sound investment judgment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
• Interest in long-term growth within a private capital platform
• Real and relevant ties to Pittsburgh
