Are you a certified Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding full-time role? The Hannahville Indian Community is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team in Wilson, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference in the health of our community.

 

What You'll Do

 

As our new Pharmacy Technician, you'll be an essential part of the pharmacy's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing medications: You'll measure, mix, count, and label medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

  • Patient care: You'll process prescriptions, update patient profiles, and ensure accurate record-keeping while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

  • Operational support: You'll help manage inventory, operate the cash register, and keep our workspace clean and organized. You'll also process insurance claims and assist in emergency situations if needed.

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • current Michigan Certified Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.

  • Current  CPR certification .

  • At least one year of previous experience in a pharmacy setting.

  • A positive attitude with excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of standard office practices, record management, and HIPAA regulations.

 

Position Details

 

  • Location: Hannahville Indian Community, Wilson, MI.

  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

  • Wage: Negotiable based on experience.
