Reliance Contractors is hiring a part time office cleaner in Plains, Montana. Immediate need and $50 bonus for rapid hiring. Essential functions include cleaning and maintaining buildings/facilities, performing heavy cleaning duties, and notifying managers concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems. The cleaner must establish effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. and comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities include cleaning building floors, dusting and washing furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleaning ceilings and dusts and polishing light fixtures. The cleaner may remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. They mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors, clean and vacuum carpeted areas, gather and empty trash, wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas, clean and polish furniture and fixtures, service, clean, and supply restrooms, periodically clean overhead vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture, clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees, keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order, requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties, and monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications include being 18 years of age or older. The position is a year-round job cleaning the District Ranger Office. Additionally, from April to October it also entails three hours a week cleaning the Ranger Bunkhouse bathroom.
