**About Buddy**
Buddy is a supportive space where users can talk to trained coaches who help them feel lighter, calmer, and more heard through real human conversation. Our work is non-clinical: coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
**Role Summary**
As a Mental Wellness Coach, you will hold empathetic, supportive 1:1 conversations with users, helping them explore emotions, reflect, and feel understood without offering therapy or clinical guidance.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct 1:1 supportive, non-clinical conversations.
* Validate user emotions without judgment.
* Ask reflective questions providing clarity.
* Maintain boundaries and confidentiality.
* Follow the platform’s safety and escalation protocols.
* Submit brief post-session notes.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
* Native/professional-level spoken English.
* High emotional intelligence and empathy.
* Quiet, distraction-free environment.
* Ability to handle sensitive topics with maturity.
**This is _not_ a therapy or clinical role.**
