TEKsystems is looking to hire several Medical Receptionists for a large orthopedic company out in Owosso, MI!

Description
Monday - Thursday 8am-5:30pm, Friday 8am-12pm A lot more traffic with walk ins.
Full-time, need for a busy orthotic and prosthetic company (20-35 patients a day) . Check in patients, phones, schedule appointments. Must have at least two years of experience working in a medical office (Front Desk). Must have at least two years of experience with EMR/electronic health/medical record systems. Must have experience verifying insurances. . Computer proficiency is required and accuracy in their work. They will work at the front desk checking in patients, verifying insurance, quoting co-pays as well as updating patient demographics and scheduling of appointments. Eventually they would like to get this person trained in the patient check out role and prior authorization area
Duties include:
-Verify and enter demographic information.
-Verify insurances. Obtain insurance authorizations/precertification.
-Scheduling patients.
-Determine and accept required payments, including co-insurances, co-pays and deductibles.
-Provide general office support.
-All other duties assigned.
-Experience in an orthotic and prosthetic office preferred/bonus

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
