*Position:* Medical Receptionist - Hiring for several positions
*Location:* Fall River, MA
*Job Type:* Full Time – 40 hrs
*Job Description:*
The Medical Receptionist will attend to patients on the phone and in person. Coordinate and organize appointments to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment, and support delivery of quality patient care. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
*Essential Duties and Qualifications:*
· Greet patients
· Schedule return appointments for follow-up
· Process referrals
· Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
· Schedule and Register patients according to established protocols
· Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
· Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
· Provide front desk assistance to include; collecting co-pays and payments, checking insurance eligibility
· Handles fax-in-box
· Complete other clerical duties as assigned
· Ensure patient areas are well maintained, neat and clean
· Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
*Minimum Requirements and Skills:*
· Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
· Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
· Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
· Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.71 - $26.15 per hour
