Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Fairport – Baird Rd.
Start Date: 11/3
Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join a busy and patient-focused medical office in Fairport. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  (Approximately 30–35 hours/week for 6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays
• Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Handle multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries
• Collect payments and provide receipts
• Support general office operations and multitask effectively

Must-Haves:

• Tech-savvy with ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

Plusses:

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist
• Familiarity with insurance verification
• Experience working with EMR systems

Compensation:

$15/hr to $18/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
