Meals on Wheels of Syracuse (MOWS) is seeking a dynamic, experienced Executive Director (ED) to lead the organization through a period of growth and opportunity. For 65 years, MOWS has been dedicated to delivering nutritious meals and social interaction to homebound individuals across Onondaga County. The new ED will guide the organization into the future, ensuring efficient operations, sustainable growth, and effective service to the community. Key Responsibilities: Work with the Board to provide strategic direction and ensure the efficient delivery of services. Oversee daily operations, including meal production, program management, and human resources. Manage financial operations, including budgeting, fundraising, and fiscal health. Represent MOWS in the community, building relationships with donors, partners, and funders. Lead marketing and resource development efforts to increase visibility and support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with relevant experience in nonprofit management, social services, or a related field. At least 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a nonprofit setting. Proven ability to manage staff, finances, and operational resources effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and community outreach.
