Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide personalized educational support to students of various ages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of key subjects, including mathematics, science, and engineering principles. This role requires the ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each student, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages academic growth and confidence.

Duties

• Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in subjects such as Algebra, Chemistry, Physics, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Probability and Statistics.
• Develop customized lesson plans that align with students' learning objectives and academic goals.
• Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure understanding and retention of material.
• Provide support for both children and adults in various educational settings, including classroom environments and online platforms.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation.
• Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in subjects such as Calculus, Geometry, Chemistry, Algebra, and Physics.
• Previous experience tutoring or teaching children or adults is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• A passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
