We are seeking a loading dock professional to join our organization. The Loading Dock Associate reports to the Operations Lead and has the responsibility for monitoring and assisting in all loading dock activities: Inbound/Outbound.

This includes ensuring loading dock security protocols are followed.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure accuracy of item description and item counts for all incoming and outgoing internal shipments.
• Assess and confirm packaging and item condition for inbound shipments 
• Ensure accuracy of all barcodes for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure accuracy when filling out Manifest/Bill of Lading.
• Ensure receive-in log book is current and accurate.
• Unload, Verify, Record, and Label all Cross-Dock Pickups.
• Communications with Dispatch Department, Operations Managers and Client Managers on inbound activity.
• Maintains loading dock cleanliness.
• Ensure all Safety Policies are being adhered to in department.
• Will physically assist in loading and unloading of the trucks.
• Assist in other team members as needed.

Job requirements and attitude:

• At least three years of experience is required.
• All candidates must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a clean-cut, well-groomed appearance and punctual.
• All candidates must pay attention to detail, be organized, and follow instructions.
• Experience in packing, handling, creating cases, organizing, fine furniture is an A+.
• Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of times.
