Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and laboratory services industry, is seeking a LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer II to join their team. As a LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer II, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer II

Location:  Brookings, SD (100% onsite)

Pay Range $18 to $22 depending upon experience 
Duration: 6 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Perform sample logging, preparation, and testing within a laboratory setting.
• Accurately record and review data to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in product release processes by adhering to established protocols.
• Identify issues or problems during testing and collaborate on solutions.
• Support the development and improvement of products, processes, or technologies.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree
• Experience working with moderate work direction in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to identify issues and assist in resolving technical problems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for data review and team collaboration.
• Educational background in chemistry, physics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
