Job Description

Junior Security Analyst Genesis10 is seeking a Junior Security Analyst. This is a fully remote 15+ month contract role, with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities include assisting in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of antivirus and endpoint management infrastructure. Monitor and manage dashboards reporting the health of security tools on endpoints. Perform routine checks and updates to ensure security tools are functioning optimally. Incident Response: Act as a point of contact to take on operational related work. Will monitor incident queue and conduct quarterly app checks. Assist with taking point on monitoring dashboards and slack channels where work requests come through. Respond to incident tickets related to endpoint security issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with senior security team members to investigate and resolve security incidents. Document incident resolutions and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles. Requirements: Associates degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Basic understanding of ServiceNow (specifically for incident queue monitoring). Familiar with working with end-users who are calling in with issues. Experience in helpdesk support/calling. Basic understanding of antivirus, endpoint management, and DLP technologies. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 1st and 2nd tier support Analytical and Problem Solving Skills Endpoint Security Management Incident Response Preferred Skills: Experience in Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) Antivirus Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Endpoint Management Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) Pay rate: $16-18/hr W2 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
