Journeyman Plumber / Pipefitter

About Us

SOS Plumbing & Heating is a small but fast-growing, family-owned company serving Rhode Island. We operate three trucks and are expanding as we head into the heating season. We’re hiring a  Journeyman Plumber or Pipefitter (or a tech with boiler knowledge) to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, install, alter, and repair pipe systems (water, steam, air, gas).
• Install/service boilers, hydronic systems, and mechanical controls.
• Read blueprints/codes; inspect and test systems.
• Maintain/repair piping and related equipment.
• Lead/assist apprentices as needed; keep accurate job records.

Requirements

• Valid  Journeyman Plumber or Pipefitter license (minimum).
• HS diploma/GED (technical training preferred).
• Clean driving record (DMV check) and background check.
• Boiler experience strongly preferred.

Job Type & Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, with overtime/occasional on-call as needed.
