POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative supports the companys industrial sales operations by
managing inbound and outbound sales communications, qualifying leads, preparing quotes,
and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role works closely with
Outside Sales, Sales Management, and Operations to ensure a smooth customer experience,
achieve sales goals, and contribute to regional profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
Proactively make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate
sales opportunities
Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and bids in coordination with Outside
Sales
Support the sales team with lead qualification and appointment setting
Track customer interactions in CRM and maintain accurate sales records
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products and services to current customers
Collaborate with operations to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to effectively communicate value
propositions
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)
2+ years of sales or customer service experience in an industrial or B2B environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Technical aptitude for learning industrial equipment applications
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience
Monthly Bonus: 1% of service revenue from assigned accounts or region if minimum
of $200k of service revenue is invoiced
$1,000 distributed across KPI achievement
Key Performance Indicators:
Quote-to-Order Strive for Five 5 and PM Conversion Rate - 75% target (20% of bonus)
Monthly Sales Revenue Achievement - $200,000 service target (20% of bonus)
Gross Profit per Sale - 45% margin maintenance (20% of bonus)
Customer Retention Rate - 95% target (20% of bonus)
CRM Data Entry / Workflow Accuracy 100% when audited (20% of bonus)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, especially during
meetings, presentations, and while operating a vehicle.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch during site visits or
equipment inspections.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, such as promotional materials, product
samples, or equipment
