The Impact You'll Have:

As a Graduate Traffic Engineer , you will have the ability to be a part of a cohesive Traffic Engineering team. Jump start your career by being exposed to a variety of transportation engineering experiences under the direction of a licensed and knowledgeable Professional Engineer. You will work with a variety of agencies including DOT's, Counties, Cities and Developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting signal timing projects, including building, optimizing Synchro models and implementing signal timing plans
  • Conducting traffic capacity, traffic operations, and safety analysis for traffic impact studies (TIS), intersection control evaluations (ICE) and corridor studies
  • Traffic design - plans, specifications, quantities and estimates for traffic signal, roadway lighting, roadway signing, and pavement markings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 0-4 years of experience in Traffic Engineering
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organization and multitasking
    • Excellent technical, written, and communication skills
    • Proficiency with Synchro, SimTraffic and Vissim traffic analysis software
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation

    This position is expected to begin in May 2026.

    The base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
