Job Description

The base salary for this position is $33.28 hourly.

Operates, services, and repairs the varied components of an irrigation system and performs related tasks as required, under supervision, but with some latitude for independent judgment.

• Operates, maintains, and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks in distribution lines, valves, risers, control lines, and sprinkler heads.
• Maintains, programs, and repairs the master and satellite controllers, and electrical panels.
• Repairs, operates, and maintains lake levels, wells, irrigation pumps, and pumping stations. Periodically, inspects the various components of the irrigation system to ensure proper operation.
• Operates various types of equipment needed for repairs to irrigation systems.
• Keeps maintenance work area in a clean, safe working environment at all times and meets all HIOSH requirements.
• Records and reports the daily readings of meters, gauges, lake levels and water flow readings.
• Reads and understands irrigation blueprints and interprets legends.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in repairs and maintenance of golf course irrigation systems or of similar nature and application for irrigation.
• Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Hawaii State driver’s license.
