Job Description

The base salary for this position is $33.28 hourly.

Operates services and repairs the varied components of an irrigation system and performs related tasks as required under supervision but with some latitude for independent judgment.

• Operates maintains and repairs a complex irrigation system including leaks in distribution lines valves risers control lines and sprinkler heads.
• Maintains programs and repairs the master and satellite controllers and electrical panels.
• Repairs operates and maintains lake levels wells irrigation pumps and pumping stations. Periodically inspects the various components of the irrigation system to ensure proper operation.
• Operates various types of equipment needed for repairs to irrigation systems.
• Keeps maintenance work area in a clean safe working environment at all times and meets all HIOSH requirements.
• Records and reports the daily readings of meters gauges lake levels and water flow readings.
• Reads and understands irrigation blueprints and interprets legends.

Qualifications :

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in repairs and maintenance of golf course irrigation systems or of similar nature and application for irrigation.
• Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Hawaii State drivers license.
