Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently move, stack, load, and unload materials and products throughout the facility using powered industrial trucks (forklifts). The ideal candidate has excellent spatial awareness, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $19 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, etc.) to move materials, products, and equipment.
• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trailers, delivery trucks, and containers; properly stage incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Inventory & Storage: Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas (racks, bays) according to inventory control procedures (FIFO, LIFO).
• Inspections: Perform daily pre-operation (OSHA compliant) and post-operation checks on the forklift and other equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Use RF scanners, WMS (Warehouse Management System), and/or physical documentation to accurately track inventory movement and location transfers.
