Job Description
Our key client is seeking a Facilities Specialist as a contractor for an estimated 1-year contract, reporting onsite in Boston for 40 hours a week. The Schedule is M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The pay rate is $20/hr. and pay is weekly.
Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will restock all pantries; provide light cleaning and wiping of counter tops during the day, including removal of dishes, leftovers, and disposal of trash when needed. The Corporate Ambassador will perform weekly supply audits for each pantry and provide to the Facility Manager for supply reordering. Other duties as assigned.
Facilities Maintenance Specialist / Corporate Ambassador
We are seeking a proactive, reliable Facilities Maintenance Specialist to serve as our Corporate Ambassador and help keep our workplace welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
Restock and maintain all pantries; ensure coffee, tea, and supplies are always available
Perform light cleaning during the day (wiping counters, keeping sinks clear, emptying trash, cleaning microwaves, removing dishes/food items)
Conduct weekly pantry supply audits and coordinate with the Facilities Manager for reordering
Provide light maintenance support (changing bulbs, spot-cleaning carpets, replenishing restroom supplies, sweeping, and table cleaning)
Monitor and maintain common spaces, including conference rooms, hallways, guest offices, and public areas to ensure a professional appearance
Assist the Facilities Manager and Maintenance team with small projects and safety measures
