ROLE OVERVIEW

As Event Coordinator, you are highly organised and dependable supporting the wider Events team with the running of our key accounts. Working on event briefs, client proposals and merchandise requests for some of the leading brands and industry names. This is an opportunity to grow in this hands-on multifaceted fast paced role. The role requires strong project coordination skills, strong communication and a solution driven approach. Enhancing our client and customer experience by working creatively, proactively and thinking outside of the box.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working across multiple projects at one time, feel comfortable to work independently on allocated tasks, whilst taking accountability of the responsibilities allocated. Working with various colleagues across the division and other departments on a range of projects, while maintaining a keen eye for detail, strong communication and creative skills.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • 1 year+ experience in events, hospitality, project management or assistant support
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to multitask and work proactively
  • Research for proposals and event briefs and creating proposals
  • Sourcing and communicating with suppliers globally
  • Assisting with location sourcing globally
  • Assisting with updating event documentation such as agendas, schedules and timeline trackers
  • Experience with shipping, customs and distribution is preferable but not essential
  • Working with the team on larger projects
  • Supporting department with divisional tasks
  • Methodical, meticulous, and structured approach to your everyday tasks
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Logistically minded and solution driven
  • Ability to anticipate needs, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to take initiative and to adapt. A positive ‘can-do’ and flexible approach
  • Delivering a great customer experience and maintaining an above and beyond attitude.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in other languages is a bonus.
  • Proven experience with IT programmes such as Microsoft Packages, G-Suite and Event Management / Registration Platforms (Prefered)
