CP&P is seeking an experienced Estimator in the Denver, NC area to support our sales team. In this position, you'll provide accurate estimates for precast concrete products and pipe, helping us deliver top-tier solutions to the construction industry. This fast-paced role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines efficiently.

 

What You’ll Do:
• Provide takeoffs from civil plans and prepare customer quotations
• Service existing accounts and organize daily work schedule through telecommunication tools (e.g., telephone and/or email)
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as monthly quote logs, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis
• Use online plan services (e.g., CDC News, IsqFt) to obtain and print project documents
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations if required
• Maintain bid history logs and quote tracking tools
• Contribute to team effort and work closely with outside sales

 

What You Bring:

• Experience in the precast concrete and pipe industry
• Understanding of civil engineering plans
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset
• Working technical knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing and construction site application of finished product

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Schedule & Environment:
• Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, with overtime or weekends as needed during peak periods

• Office setting with clean, climate-controlled areas and fluorescent lighting

• May occasionally enter production environment or visit job sites with exposure to weather/air conditions, loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting

• PPE required in all production areas

• Physical requirements may include standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, and bending/stooping; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
