Role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and developing SeaComm's online presence, including its website, social media pages, search engine platforms, email marketing, and digital advertising channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the social media channels owned by SeaComm, by writing content and designing some graphics, engaging with followers, and responding quickly to inquiries. Optimize social media strategies to increase the number of followers and reach new audiences. Engage with followers by building weekly social media giveaways and contests.
  • Maintain and build SeaComm's website, including pushing out any new pages, graphics, and updates, as requested. Assist with a full website redesign when required. Create and manage forms for collecting data. Implement and manage an SEO strategy.
  • Responsible for the email marketing automation program at SeaComm. Create and send a weekly email to our members, based on current promotions and initiatives. Continuously work on the email distribution list to keep it up to date. Send text message alerts as requested to subscribers.
  • Generate leads through PPC campaigns and display ads. Continuously analyze and optimize results to achieve maximum exposure from budget within given markets.
  • Update and manage graphics on SeaComm's digital marketing channels, to include all branch screens and Access Digital according to a given schedule.
  • Create monthly reports to show usage and growth for all digital platforms, as well as year-over year trends.
  • Assist with department events, including Beyond the Branch, and any community-related initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends in Digital Marketing to advise on new channels or approaches to capture market area.
  • Perform other duties for the Marketing and Communications Department as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork and collaboration are a must, as is the ability to receive feedback and act on it. This role requires someone who can be diplomatic and use tact when responding to online complaints, as well as maintaining confidentiality. Willing to lend a hand when needed.

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 40 hrs. per week

Current Schedule: 8a - 5p, Monday - Friday

Pay Rage: $23.67 - $30.00 per hour. Position also eligible for quarterly incentives and annual bonus.

Actual starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
