Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Database Technology Manager to lead and oversee data management and analytics initiatives. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership to drive innovation and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. Based in New York, New York, you will play a critical role in managing advanced database technologies and fostering collaboration between technical and business teams. Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of advanced database solutions to meet organizational goals. - Manage and optimize data analytics tools, including Tableau and Microsoft SQL Server, to ensure seamless operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights through data visualization. - Provide mentorship and training to team members on data analytics tools and methodologies. - Develop and maintain data governance standards to ensure data security and compliance. - Oversee the creation of compelling visual narratives to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders. - Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements and new data solutions. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in database technologies and data science to apply best practices. - Support the design and maintenance of data pipelines and engineering systems. - Collaborate on Agile-based projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery of data-related initiatives. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field. - At least 6 years of experience in progressively senior analytical roles. - Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to train others. - Broad expertise in various analytical domains such as revenue management, forecasting, and segmentation. - Strong communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to create impactful data visualizations. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguous situations. - Proven track record of driving innovation in data management. - Familiarity with Python and data science methodologies is a plus.
