Corporate Controller - Real Estate/Development
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary: $170,000-$190,000 + 20-30% Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, including AP and staff accountants.
• Optimize financial processes and leverage Yardi system capabilities.
• Oversee consolidation of financials across development entities and affiliates.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and quarterly variance reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with leadership.
• Analyze financial models and support strategic decision-making.
• Take ownership of special projects and evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Public accounting background highly desirable.
• Industry experience in real estate, development, or construction.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems-Yardi experience is a plus.
• Strong grasp of GAAP and internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of stability and integrity.
