Job Description

Staffmark is hiring a Construction Inspector in Monroe, LA! Join our team and play a critical role in ensuring construction projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in civil site inspections and construction management.

Pay & Schedule

• $22.00 - $31.25/hour (based on experience)
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control standards
• Document construction progress and prepare clear Daily Inspection Reports
• Ensure compliance on infrastructure projects, including public utilities, drainage, and roadways, for public and private clients
• Identify potential issues and provide solutions to maintain project integrity

Qualifications

• Experience in civil site inspections and quality control
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Skilled in using field inspection equipment and measurement tools
• LA DOTD Technician Certifications, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications promptly
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
