About the Role

Were hiring a Senior / Staff Data Scientist to tackle highimpact problems across logistics, patient behavior, clinical operations, and population health. This is a 01 role where your work directly shapes how care is delivered, optimized, and scaled. Youll turn messy, realworld healthcare data into insights that drive product direction, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Office Location

We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco and Menlo Park. We care about worklife balance and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.

What you will do

  • Explore clinical, operational, and patient engagement data to surface actionable insights
  • Analyze routing, capacity planning, and supplydemand dynamics across regions
  • Identify drivers of preventive care engagement and patient followthrough
  • Predict cancellations, risk, and future care needs using behavioral and clinical signals
  • Design and evaluate A/B experiments across product, growth, and operations
  • Support internal teams with dashboards, analytics, and ad hoc decisions
  • Help shape the Data functions standards, tooling, and processes as an early leader

What you have done

  • 5+ years in data science, advanced analytics, or applied data modeling
  • Worked with large, messy datasets to answer ambiguous, highstakes questions
  • Built dashboards or visualizations using Looker, Tableau, Grafana, Superset, or similar
  • Written highquality SQL across warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
  • Influenced product, ops, or strategy decisions through data insight and storytelling
  • Presented findings to leadership and collaborated with crossfunctional teams

What gives you an edge

  • Experience with Python, Pandas, Scikitlearn, or ELK (Elasticsearch + Kibana)
  • Exposure to GCP data tools like BigQuery, DataFlow, or DataForm
  • Familiarity with healthcare data (claims, HL7, CCDAs, HIEs)
  • Experience with logistics, routing, or operational optimization problems
  • Designed or analyzed growth experiments or user behavior funnels
  • Communicated insights to Clevel stakeholders or mentored junior talent
