Partners Professional is currently seeking candidates for an opening as a Bookkeeper/Administrator for our client located in Sandston VA . The selected candidate will be handling AP/AR and additional administrative tasks such as customer service, reporting, data entry and record keeping. This position will be on site daily, Monday through Friday with scheduled hours of 8:00-5:00. It will begin as a temp-to-hire with the goal of becoming perm with good attendance and productivity. The job will be performed in the offices of a manufacturing facility

Responsibilities

  • · Maintain Accounts Payable i.e, reconcile bill of lading, enter invoices, process payments and file
  • · Process Accounts Receivable and assist resolving open balances
  • · Answer inquiries and provide support to customers
  • · Research and respond to billing errors or questions promptly
  • · Create and maintain reports on a range of business metrics
  • · Assist with maintaining accurate inventory, place maintenance and other operational supply orders as necessary to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • · Communicate open orders, bill status, ship delays and issues with affected parties
  • · Tracks the status of requisitions and purchase orders
  • · Audits invoices and payables for accuracy, receipt of material, and compliance with purchase orders

Qualifications

  • · Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • · Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and record keeping
  • · 2-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing industry preferred
  • · Experience in use of ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant analytics tools
  • · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • · Experience with managing inventory a plus
  • · Basic data entry skills
  • · Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • · Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • · Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
