Commissioner Chairman at Barona Band of Mission Indians GENERAL SUMMARY: The Background Investigator works under the general direction of the Barona Gaming Commission and reports to the Licensing Director or in his/her absence, the Assistant Licensing Director. The position conducts background investigations and interviews new applicants, employees and vendors for new and renewal gaming licenses. This position greets and assists applicants with gaming license application forms, takes fingerprint impressions, prints badges, reviews applications, criminal records, credit reports, and interviews applicants to ensure that the application is properly completed, and any discrepancies resolved. Maintains records, scans, archives, files, and manages filing system. Handles highly confidential information and is bound by a Confidentiality Agreement. Performs other duties as assigned.
