\n \n\n \nAdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, womens services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.
\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThe Assistant Nurse Manager supervises and coordinates patient care delivery on the assigned nursing units and is accountable for meeting standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports the assigned unit by planning, directing, and evaluating all nursing service functions and activities for the assigned patient care unit to ensure delivery of optimal available quality patient care and organizational effectiveness.
\n \n\n \nThe Assistant Nurse Manager completes concurrent chart audits of assigned areas to ensure charting within the EMR is complete, accurate and specific to the patients diagnosis, plan of care and core measures. Ensures that errors and omissions are corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates staff educational needs.
\n \n\n \nAchieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change

\n \n\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \nGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing
\n \nMinimum of three years acute care nursing experience or one year if has prior leadership experience.
\n \nCurrent valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license.
\n \nAHA BLS card.
\n \nAdditional certifications (ACLS, NIHSS, etc.,) per specialty unit
